From Tax Class to Saying Vows

Holly and Chad met while attending law school. They met in the most romantic class of all – a tax class. That may not have been the most romantic start of a relationship but everything that followed was. A friendship soon blossomed into a relationship. The law theme can be seen throughout their wedding. Congratulations, Holly and Chad! You’re a match made in Heaven! Have a happy wedded life!

Extra Special Wedding Details

Sparkle and gold. It was a classic-romantic blush and gold wedding. Filled with lots of sparkle and details throughout the day that showcased the couple’s law school love story and the things most important to them. Holly made sure there was sparkle thought the entire day, gold ribbon tied around bubbles at the church.

The law theme. Chad and I met in law school, so we wanted to have law related details throughout the day. We had a large scale of justice placed on our escort table with gold leaf law books. We also placed scale of justice gold coins on each guest place setting.

Memories. Something that really bonded Chad and I was that we both lost Grandparents who we were extremely close to in the same year. We were so sad they were not able to be at our special day but we made sure their memory was present. The most special thing is that Chad and I exchanged our grandparents wedding bands, so he will forever wear the band worn by his Pappy and I will forever wear the band worn by my Nana. We also honored them on a memory table which featured wedding pictures from 4 generations of couples in our family.

The music. The Jazz Quartet that played during cocktail hour and dinner really set the mood for the entire night. It was classic and allowed guests to enjoy each other’s company with light music. Then the guests danced the night away to a handcrafted playlist of oldies, based on friends and families favorite songs.

The Bride’s Advice

♥ Try thinking of your day as an experience for your guests. Make sure you go through the day in your mind from their point of view. This ensures that there is no dead time and that the guests always have something to look forward to.

♥ It is worth it to add every detail you’ve always dreamed of. The thing people commented on the most was that no detail was forgotten. I stressed out about making sure every detail was beautiful from place settings to programs, but in the end it was worth it.

♥ Trust your gut. From picking out your dress, to finding your vendors. Don’t second guess yourself.
