Vintage Royal Themed Wedding

Royal weddings have forever been an inspiration for busy brides planning their weddings. It was the timeless charm of Grace Kelly and Queen Elizabeth behind the styling of this intimate vintage look. Nothing charms the way true vintage pieces can. This amazing team of creative minds came together in the most beautiful century home in the Okanagan with authentic antique garments to create a dreamy royal inspired wedding and honeymoon brunch scene. The bride and groom wore authentic antique pieces that naturally suited the aesthetic of the century home in Vernon, BC that hosted them. The homage to the classic look was carried into the honeymoon brunch where the regal pair dined on fresh fruit, pastries, and tea. Who said you can’t carry your wedding theme into the morning after? Enjoy these snaps taken by Jenn Beal Photography and me truly inspired by the details!

We’re All About the Details!

With vintage being the theme, these creative vendors were so excited to feature truly antique and well cared for pieces such as the bride’s dress, nightgown, and grooms morning robe. Shooting inside the stunning Mackie Lake House only added to the mood with so many well-preserved details. The home feels comfortable well still providing the type of history you expect to see in a museum.

Take this Advice

Celebrate your family’s history by incorporating heirlooms into your wedding day. Whether the details be big or small they bring along with them love that has been preserved for decades. Don’t hesitate to express your bridal style with something old and something borrowed. These details add a richness to your wedding day you can’t find in something new. ~Jenn Beal/Photographer
