You Mean The World To Me

Elizabeth ♥ Austin

Lizzy and Austin chose Kansas City to get married in. The bricks and wood floors of The Bauer, the ceremony and reception venue, achieved the right amount of classic and vintage they wanted for their wedding. The bridesmaids’ dresses were embodied with sequins. Another noteworthy detail was that their guests can choose any place in the globe and write their name on it. Indeed, they mean the world to Lizzy and Austin! Let’s take it all from the bride as she shares details on her wedding and some tips to planning brides!

Extra Special Details

Royals for the win! My grandparent’s 1984 Royals World Series pin was on my bouquet as my something blue and that night the Royals beat the Toronto Blue Jays to go to the World Series!

The theme. I wanted a warm, romantic, vintage, fall wedding without the typical fall colors. My florist did such an amazing job creating my vision.

Love Letter and Wine Box Ceremony. We chose a bottle of our favorite wine from the year we met, then wrote love letters to each other and sealed them. This is our very own romantic time capsule that we will open on our 5th wedding anniversary.

Alternative Guest Book. We had our guests sign vintage globes instead of a guest book. This is a wonderful way to have our family and friends’ well wishes displayed in our home.
